Coach Bruere is in her 1st season as the Dodge City Volleyball Head Coach. Before Dodge City, Coach Bruere was an assistant at a nearby NJCAA Volleyball program, Otero Junior College in La Junta, Colorado. Over two years as an assistant coach at Otero, Coach Bruere helped turn the program around, making it to the regional championships for the first time in school history in 2019. Before serving as the assistant at Otero Junior college, she gained experience at the NCAA D1 level while being a graduate assistant at The University of Louisiana-Monroe. At ULM, Coach Bruere assisted with both programs indoor as well as beach volleyball. Before becoming a ULM graduate assistant, Coach Bruere played four years at Colorado State University-Pueblo from 2012-2015. During her collegiate career Coach, Bruere had over 1,000 assists and 600 digs! In addition to playing volleyball all four years, she also competed with the softball team at CSUP for one year. Coach Bruere earned two degrees, a bachelor’s degree in physical ed from CSU-Pueblo and a master’s degree in Sports Administration from the University of Louisiana-Monroe.
